The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable GAAP requirements.Perform, review and analyze a broad range of complex accounting activities in order to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Reconcile Balance Sheet AccountsConduct regular ledger maintenanceAnalyze expenses to evaluate cost opportunitiesEvaluate current work flow to recommend changes to increase accuracy and efficienciesMonitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statementsAssist with External Financial Audit and follow up audit recommendationsEstablish and maintain records to document transactionsIdentify efficiencies and improvements in current accounting practicesFoster a safe and environmentally sustainable workplace by ensuring compliance with all PCI EHS policies and procedures.Other duties as assignedSpecial DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Employee will work with moderate noise level.Employee will perform tasks while experiencing numerous interruptions.Employee may travel by car and airplane to work at different locations and may occasionally be required to travel overnight.The work environment is fast-paced and demanding.This position has the utmost responsibility for compliance with the rules and regulations regarding a safe and healthy work environment relative to their actions and conduct.Off-shift, weekend and overtime duties may be required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or complex operating environment.CPA certification is highly preferred.Strong understanding of US GAAP.Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.Experience with ERP/accounting systems; experience with large-scale ERP environments is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsPublic accounting or Big Four experience.CPA license or active CPA candidate.Experience in a manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry.Experience with revenue recognition and complex accounting transactions.Strong business partnering skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Join us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
