Overview
Join Top Line Trucking Inc as a vital member of our logistics team. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of our fleet operations, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of drivers and vehicles to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle locations and provide real-time updates to drivers and customers.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with management to optimise routing and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
- Experience in the trucking industry.
- Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
