Time Type:Full timeRemote Type:Job Family Group:SalesJob Description Summary: Job Description:The Sales Training Manager is a strategic leader within the Field Coaching & Development team, responsible for elevating sales performance through impactful training, coaching, and field development. This role partners closely with Sales leadership and Field Sales Managers to identify capability gaps, develop targeted learning solutions, and strengthen the effectiveness of our sales organization.This is a highly visible, field-focused role that brings training to life in the market through hands-on coaching, real-time observation, and meaningful development conversations. The Sales Training Manager will work seamlessly across the market to build sales capability, reinforce best practices, and equip Field Sales Managers and Sales Representatives with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to drive sustainable business results.The ideal candidate is a dynamic facilitator, trusted coach, and strategic business partner who can translate organizational priorities into practical field execution and inspire continuous growth across the sales organization.Job Responsibilities:Implement targeted training programs to enhance the sales team's skills in alignment with strategic sales objectives.Complete training for new hires and ongoing training for entire sales staff.Strategize with Leadership on new Field Sales Manager and Sales Rep training methods to be implemented.Schedule and attend Field Sales Manager ‘work withs’ to drive market success and ‘train the trainer’ on the Breakthru Way of SellingSupport leadership with the career development and performance of Sales associates.Provide coaching to Field Sales Managers & Sales Reps.Partner with sales and marketing departments to understand goals and coach to achieve goals.Perform analysis of training needs and effectiveness.Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques.Provide recommendations to leadership based on analysis.Supplier PartnershipAct as conduit between supplier trainers and Breakthru for training needs.Advise and participate in interviews, succession planning, and career pathing.Act as the primary contact for supplier interns and internal supplier candidates.Assist with general sales meetings, this may be by speaking or assisting in the coordination of these events.AdditionalConduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 5 years total sales experience, including 3 years of people management experienceProficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with strong verbal/written communication skills, using diplomacy and tact as well as superior customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, high attention to detail and ability to meet assigned deadlinesAnalytic and reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPrior Wine & Spirits Distribution experience.Preferred Qualifications:Previous supplier specific training and sales management experience.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephoneTravel is required for this position and estimated at 50% of timeCompetencies:May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine.
