Are you an experienced sales professional within the Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC controls industry looking for an opportunity to grow your earnings and develop new business across the Miami region?

We are representing a growing building automation business looking to appoint a driven Building Automation Controls Sales Engineer to expand its customer base and develop new opportunities across controls service, installation, and maintenance contracts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual who understands building controls and can build strong relationships with building owners, facility managers, property management companies, and contractors.

The Role

\n

\n
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the Miami market.
\n
• Sell building automation controls service agreements, installation projects, and preventative maintenance contracts.
\n
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, facility managers, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and other key decision-makers.
\n
• Develop a pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
\n
• Conduct client consultations to understand building requirements and recommend suitable controls solutions.
\n
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations tailored to customer needs.
\n
• Work closely with technical, engineering, and service teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Negotiate commercial agreements and develop long-term customer partnerships.
\n
• Achieve sales targets while contributing to the wider growth of the business across the region.

The Ideal Candidate

\n

\n
• Previous sales experience within Building Automation Systems, HVAC controls, or the commercial mechanical services industry.
\n
• Experience selling controls service agreements, maintenance contracts, installation projects, or related technical solutions.
\n
• A proven ability to generate new business and develop a strong sales pipeline.
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Commercially driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.
\n
• Technical understanding of BAS, HVAC controls, or building services.
\n
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the Miami region.
\n
