Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Willits, CA travel assignment starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care for a patient or patient group on the Med/Surg unit using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop and adjust care plans to achieve outcomes
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate appropriately
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, holistic care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care and patient education
• Document care accurately and provide learning opportunities for patients and teammates

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (CA) required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field; acute care/Med/Surg experience preferred
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required per policy
• Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting
• Cerner EMR experience may be noted as beneficial
