Senior Accountant

Ground-floor opportunity to build and modernize the finance function of a fast-growing, privately held company, with a clear path to a management role. Our client, a privately held company in the distribution and logistics space doing $100M+ in annual revenue, is hiring a hands-on Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations and drive the transition to full GAAP accrual accounting. Own month-end close and drive it toward a faster, cleaner cycle Lead inventory accounting (FIFO) across multiple locations Build internal controls and mentor staff accountants Help lead the shift from cash/hybrid to full accrual accounting Partner directly with company leadership on process improvements You have: 3+ years of corporate accounting experience (more welcome) Solid US GAAP knowledge, corporate accounting background required (not construction/percentage-of-completion) FIFO inventory experience a strong plus Bachelor's in accounting (finance/business also considered); CPA not required A chance to roll up your sleeves, rebuild the accounting function from the ground up, and do it alongside good people who are invested in getting it right. #J-18808-Ljbffr Synergy Search
