Biochemist (Purification Scale Up)

Eurofins seeks a biochemist to conduct protein purification and analytical testing using large-scale laboratory equipment in Indianapolis. The role involves buffer preparation, column packing, tangential flow filtration, and supporting lab operations through maintenance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct protein purification and buffer preparation using large-scale laboratory equipment
• Perform column packing and tangential flow filtration operations
• Prepare and manage sample aliquots and inventory
• Maintain lab equipment, dispose of samples, manage waste, and order supplies
• Document procedures and collaborate with internal and external clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field, or two years directly related industry experience
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds regularly
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and scientific skills
• Self-motivated and collaborative with commitment to quality and accuracy
