You will assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting meals. We seek full-time help for back-of-house cooking and prep on our taco and salad lines at LEGOLAND, New York. LEGOLAND New York work is seasonal so we are especially looking for people in need of a Summer job but with full time hours during that time. Salary range: $17-$20 (based on relative experience) Responsibilities Prepare all served food. Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions Follow standard recipes and special diet orders Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances Qualifications Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques Strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well in teams A Background check is required. Uniforms are provided.
