NEW IN – Senior Employment Litigation Attorney | Plaintiff + Defense | Build Your Own Practice | $150K–$200K DOE | Chicago Hybrid I'm currently working with a boutique Chicago employment law firm looking to add a Senior Employment Litigation Attorney with experience on both the plaintiff and defense side. This is an opportunity to take a senior role within a close-knit practice, mentor junior attorneys and continue building your own practice. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Work Both Sides of the V – Handle plaintiff and defense employment matters, giving you a genuinely varied litigation practice. Bring a Book or Build One – A portable book is preferred, but it is not required , giving you room to develop business without needing to arrive with an established book. Senior Role With Team Influence – Mentor junior attorneys and play an active role in the development of the firm's employment practice. Boutique Platform – Join a smaller employment-focused team where senior attorneys have direct visibility and influence over their matters and clients. The Role Lead and manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution. Handle both plaintiff and defense-side employment disputes. Develop case strategy and oversee pleadings, motions, discovery and litigation proceedings. Appear at hearings, mediations and other contested matters. Work directly with clients and provide strategic employment litigation advice. Mentor and support junior attorneys. Contribute to the continued development of the employment practice. 6+ years of employment litigation experience. Both plaintiff and defense-side experience required. Strong litigation, writing and advocacy skills. Ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy. Proven ability to mentor junior attorneys. Portable book of business preferred, but not required.
