Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and create tailored treatment strategies

Deliver physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Engage in collaborative efforts with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Inform patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise protocols

Record evaluations, treatments, and outcomes, in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards

Participate actively in care team meetings and interdisciplinary consultations to provide coordinated patient care

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

State license required for practicing as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification is preferred

Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are beneficial but not mandatory

Prior experience in a relevant setting is highly preferred

Comfortable treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Proficient with digital charting and clinical documentation software
