Account ManagerCustom Truck One Source (CTOS) is one of North America's leading providers of specialty trucks, heavy equipment, rentals, parts, service, and equipment solutions. We serve utility, telecom, rail, infrastructure, forestry, and specialty contractor customers throughout the United States and Canada.This role is ideal for a proven sales professional with experience selling or renting commercial trucks, utility equipment, heavy equipment, construction equipment, fleet solutions, or related products.This is a true hunter role, focused on identifying opportunities, generating new business, and building long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, conducting needs assessments, presenting solutions, quoting, closing business, and managing ongoing customer relationships throughout the territory. This home-based position requires regular travel throughout the Greater Hudson Valley market.Develop and execute a territory growth plan throughout the Greater Hudson Valley region.Prospect and cold call to generate new business opportunities.Build relationships with utility, construction, municipal, telecommunications, tree care, and contractor customers.Conduct customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and solution presentations.Promote CTOS's new and used equipment sales, rentals, parts, tools, and service offerings.Prepare quotations, proposals, and equipment solutions based on customer needs.Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management through Salesforce.Grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business.Travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.3+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of new business development.Experience in one or more of the following industries: utility equipment, commercial trucks, construction equipment, heavy equipment, equipment rental, fleet services or leasing, agricultural equipment, vocational truck sales.Strong prospecting, cold-calling, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory.Drive new and used equipment sales while promoting rental, parts, and service offerings.Develop market strategies, identify target accounts, and create territory growth plans.Prospect and generate new customer relationships through direct sales efforts.Conduct equipment presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and customer needs.Maintain sales activity, call reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates in Salesforce.Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Maintain professional industry knowledge through training, networking, and industry events.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions and support.3 to 5+ years of outside sales experience in commercial truck, utility equipment, heavy equipment, construction equipment, vocational equipment, fleet leasing, or related industries.Demonstrated success developing new business and growing territory revenue.Knowledge of aerial equipment, utility equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction equipment preferred.Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.Professional appearance and customer-focused approach.Valid driver's license.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.Home-based office with regular travel throughout the Greater Hudson Valley territory.Frequent customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and industry events.Up to 50% travel, including occasional overnight travel.Base Salary + Monthly CommissionCompany VehicleGas Card401(k) with Company MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Vacation, Sick Time, and HolidaysEmployee Discount ProgramsOngoing Training and Professional Development OpportunitiesJoin CTOS and help customers solve their equipment challenges while building a rewarding sales career with an industry leader.Custom Truck One Source is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for work authorization.
