MRI Technologist - Night Shift (Part-Time)

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently, and assist with complex exams and troubleshooting. They will oversee shift operations, delegate tasks, and serve as a clinical resource for staff, mentoring and problem-solving. The role includes acting as a liaison between the team and supervisor, managing supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow. Responsibilities also encompass developing staff, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining quality standards. Qualifications & Skills: Associate degree or Trade School equivalency; certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR. 2-5 years of experience; supervisor experience preferred. Licenses such as IEMA (excl MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES. Preferred: 5-10 years of experience, CPR certification. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and mentorship skills required. Key Duties: Prepare patients and equipment for procedures. Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings. Manage daily workflow, assign tasks, and troubleshoot technical issues. Serve as a clinical expert, mentor staff, and support quality control. Communicate effectively with team members and maintain supplies.
