Material HandlerPosition Summary:Material Handler is responsible for the handling and placement of materials needed within each department of the home building facility.Duties / Responsibilities:Drive ForkliftProvide Materials to plantReceive material that are delivered from vendorsCheck off deliveries by company material to packing slipsPut materials in respective areasResponsible for getting materials to respective Departments in timely mannerRotate materials by date and deliveryCheck quality and state of material that is being receivedOther duties as assignedQualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent experience• Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred• Attention to detail and good communication skills• Ability to work well within a team• Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training availableMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
