• Specifications of responsibilities:

• Purchasing products from local and national vendors and manufacturers.
• Maintaining stock levels by means of predetermined reorder points
• Fulfilling purchase order requisitions from sales staff
• Managing and expediting existing purchase orders to insure a timely delivery. Via phone and/or email
• Receiving incoming product into the system from paperwork turned in from receiving department
• Managing and expediting direct shipment paperwork to insure receipt by accounting (as needed). Via phone and/or email
• Managing and resolving shipment discrepancies and damaged shipments. Via phone and/or email.
• Managing price documentation from vendors and manufacturers
• Maintaining pricing in the system
• Managing price quotes from assigned vendors and manufacturers
• Delegating cycle counts to warehouse management
• Reporting and/or adjusting cycle count results as needed
• Qualifications:
• Purchasing and inventory management experience
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast paced environment
• Computer and Microsoft Office experience
• Microsoft Excel skills required
• To learn and work with company software effectively
• To learn and implement company procedures effectively
