Hematology/Oncology Physician

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking several Hematology/Oncology physicians to join and lead a growing medical oncology practice within one of the Southwest's most comprehensive oncology programs. This role offers a unique opportunity for clinical depth and significant influence over the program's direction, practicing within a fully integrated cancer care ecosystem in El Paso, TX. Physicians will make a lasting impact on patients and the practice of oncology while stepping into a leadership role.
Practice Info
- Outpatient-primary setting with inpatient support infrastructure in place
- Clinic shares a building with cancer navigation, physical therapy, and infusion services
- Integrated oncology resources include in-house labs, imaging, oncology pharmacy, pathology, and multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Outpatient team includes a patient care tech, clinical coordinator, office coordinator, approximately 6 chemo nurses, oncology pharmacist, and certified cancer navigators
- Inpatient support is provided by a hospitalist team managing admissions and established general and oncology surgeons on staff (breast, thyroid, colorectal, liver)
- Practice affiliation with The Hospitals of Providence, the largest health network in El Paso, TX

- 32 patient contact hours per week
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology required
