Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist/PSR)

Overview Location: Absecon, New Jersey 08205 Schedule: Mon - Fri. Shifts may start at 6:45A - 2Pm or 2P - 8:15PM. Must be available for both opening and closing shifts and willingness to cover at other clinics when needed. Salary: $17-$18/HR Contract: Full Time How Strive PT and Confluent Health Supports You Structured training, hands on learning and mentorship, and ongoing support to help you grow both personally and professionally A focus to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture Generous Paid Time Off Industry-leading Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD insurances 401(k) Employer Matching Family Building and Parental Benefits Responsibilities Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team About Confluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
