Data Scientist

Position- Data Scientist Duration- Contract Location-San Antonio, TX~ Plano, TX JD

• Facilitate access to materials and training covering model development, implementation and use within the areas they support.
• Advise Model owners on how to define and track changes to model use strings.
• Familiarity with SR 11-7 guidelines and other related risk governance frameworks.
• Ensure that each model use approval includes descriptions regarding the models approved business use to minimize confusion regarding permissible uses.
• Review model development and implementation documents in accordance with the risk governance framework requirements and recommend the documentation as ready for the relevant validation activity.
• Review and verify consideration of the EMRM framework in the vendor model procurement process.
• Support model owners, model developers, model implementers in their interactions with model validation team, technology initiatives, and the development of data requirements for models.
• Consult with model owners on the resolution of model issues.
• Support model owners in managing the portfolio of models including their regular monitoring of model performance and use appropriateness.
• Review model compensating control plans and provide comments prior to submitting to the appropriate head validation.
• Support model owners and users through model retirement in accordance with the associated standards.

4-6 Years experience

• Quantitative analysis experience in a subject area relevant to risk management to include statistical analysis, modeling.
• Experience working with risk management policies and familiarity with model life cycle development
