Job Title Software Account Executive Location & Workplace Type United States — Remote Job Summary The future is bright for Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Software Account Executive. Role Overview As a Software Account Executive (AE) on our Inspection & Real Estate team, you’ll sell software that helps home inspectors run and grow their businesses. You’ll manage the full sales cycle — from generating leads to running live product demos and turning prospects into long-term customers. Your work directly supports small business owners by helping them save time, increase revenue, and simplify operations. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to potential customers and follow up on leads Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities Host live product demos via screenshare to walk inspectors through workflows and tailor the pitch to their business Explain and demonstrate product features clearly and consultatively Stay informed about industry trends and competing solutions and deeply understand the role of the home inspector and how their business operates and evolves Upsell additional products and services where appropriate Maintain accurate pipeline activity and deal notes in Salesforce, and provide regular updates on deal progress and forecasts Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Analytics, and Operations Occasionally travel to industry conferences or events to represent the company and engage with inspectors in person Central Region or East Coast preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years as a quota-carrying sales representative Experience selling SaaS solutions, ideally to SMBs Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Salesforce Coachable, curious, and motivated by solving problems for small business owners Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Self-starter with a track record of success in a remote work environment Benefits and Compensation Pay Range*: $54,000.00 - $75,600.00 Annually You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
