Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience or strong interest in working with PreK-5th grade students
• Ability to modify curriculum and implement tailored IEPs
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Enthusiasm for creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective instructional strategies for students with varying needs
• Write and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Employ positive behavior supports and classroom management techniques
• Work alongside general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
