Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Current state special education teaching certification required
• Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous classroom experience with PreK-5th grade students is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and instructional best practices for diverse learners
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement differentiated lesson plans
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is preferred, supporting communication with students and families from varied backgrounds

Responsibilities & Key Duties:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction tailored to students' unique needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure growth
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive environment
• Establish positive and productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as needed
