Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in diverse classroom settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) ability preferred but not required
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and adapt instructional activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
• Craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Collect and analyze student data to track growth and inform instructional strategies
• Communicate regularly with families, advocating for student needs and progress
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Cultivate positive, empathetic relationships with students to support their academic and social-emotional growth
