Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (State of IL preferred)
• Proven experience teaching in special education settings, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students with a range of learning differences
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families for holistic student support
• Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to promote growth
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
