Job Summary This office‑based position requires on‑site performance. Under general supervision, the Personal/Universal Banker delivers exceptional client service, manages a full range of banking products and services, and performs administrative and operational activities related to client accounts. The role involves client interaction in person, by telephone, and via email, and supports enterprise-wide policies and procedures. Responsibilities Understanding the business model and engaging subject‑matter experts to explore opportunities with clients. Executing client account servicing activities, including managing wires, fund transfers, account openings/closures, recordkeeping, and document imaging. Proactively communicating with relationship management and operations teams to obtain necessary information. Handling cash transactions and daily balancing activities in full compliance with Wealth Management Lobby Banking Operations policies. Assisting with the maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where available. Setting up all types of client accounts and services, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy. Maintaining a strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines; escalating issues promptly to management. Staying updated on business applications and technology enhancements to maintain high service standards. Keeping informed of new products and services to support client inquiries and sales initiatives. Monitoring banking reports and assisting with audits as directed by the Team Leader/Manager. Mentoring fellow Personal Bankers and providing guidance, encouragement, and direction. Training on the Northern Trust teller system as part of cross‑training. Qualifications & Experience 3 – 5 years of related banking experience. Knowledge of banking operations, products, and services. Understanding of federal regulations and banking guidelines. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills to manage conflicting priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary Range

$55,800 – $89,400 USD
