Responsibilities Teaching strategies will be incorporated to foster studentlearning, success and retention. Adjunct faculty will work withother faculty in support of curricula improvement as appropriate topromote students' success and mastery of course and programcompetencies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in History OR Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours inHistory. KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS: 1. A personal and professional commitment to creating an atmosphereof quality instruction at SSC. 2. English reading, writing and speaking skills at the native levelof fluency. 3. Ability to utilize technology and innovative pedagogy to enhanceteaching and learning. 4. Understanding of and commitment to working with a diversestudent population in a multicultural environment. 5. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communicationskills. 6. Compensation & Support Adjunct faculty are paid according to Seminole State College's Non-Bargaining Unit Salary Schedule , based on theinstructor's highest degree earned.
