Mechanical Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary DynaTen is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This essential role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility systems at DynaTen. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, welding, prefabrication, and facility equipment Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery including saws, presses, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, material handling systems, and other shop equipment Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems supporting fabrication, warehouse, and office operations Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including lighting, ice machines, kitchen equipment, and other building systems Conduct scheduled inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for parts procurement, repairs, and maintenance support Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and facility modifications Collaborate with shop supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency Identify equipment reliability concerns and recommend maintenance or process improvements Support facility upkeep and routine maintenance activities Maintain facility equipment and infrastructure in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support business objectives Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established maintenance procedures Promote and maintain a safe work environment through adherence to company safety standards Maintain strong working relationships with production teams, supervisors, vendors, and service providers Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance, facility operations, and maintenance effectiveness Demonstrate accountability, organization, and follow-through on all assigned maintenance activities Represent DynaTen in a professional and positive manner Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude while supporting operational needs Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or facility maintenance Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and facility maintenance practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Basic mathematical, reading, and English language skills Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or HVAC disciplines What You Can Expect In‑house and manufacturer‑led technical training and development opportunities Long‑term career growth within operations, facilities, maintenance, and leadership roles Comprehensive benefits package and employer‑sponsored programs (401(k) with company match, PTO, Holiday Pay, and more) Annual incentive program Opportunity to support a growing fabrication and manufacturing operation with modern equipment and facilities Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and work in various physical positions Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights Ability to work in confined spaces and around operating machinery Ability to perform hands‑on maintenance activities in both shop and office environments Ability to distinguish colors, read gauges and instrumentation, and safely operate maintenance tools and equipment Ability to work indoors and outdoors as operational needs require Ability to work overtime as needed and approved by management Regular and punctual attendance required Conditions of Employment Successfully pass a pre‑employment background screening Successfully pass a drug screening Successfully pass a physical ability assessment Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles when required EEO Statement DynaTen is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversifying its workforce.
