About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in defining and architecting its people strategy. The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping the organization's work environment by developing and implementing structures, practices, and a culture that not only empower staff but also support the company's growth and impact. A key focus for the CPO will be to ensure that the human connection, which is a hallmark of the organization, is preserved and nurtured even as the company evolves. This is a unique opportunity for a CPO to join a leading public-interest environmental law organization with a strong commitment to justice. The role involves building on the company's existing reputation as a great place to work, with a particular emphasis on maintaining high retention, a deeply engaged culture, and a long-standing dedication to the mission. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, talent acquisition and development, performance management, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and fostering a sense of belonging among all staff members.
