What You'll Do Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor Accurate identification of material to assign correct value Assesses weigh materials, inbound & outbound, and directs into the appropriate process area, as well as prices tickets Coordinate and process scrap carrier's information upon pick-up and outbound of scrap Identifies & weighs in-bound and out-bound metal shipments; provides quality customer service, and ensures customer specifications and contract requirements are fulfilled Maintain accurate record keeping of all documents related to deliveries and shipments Verify all purchases meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements What You'll Need Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus Basic computer skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
