Talent Acquisition Consultant

Position Purpose The Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as a strategic consultative partner for the assigned client group to facilitate the achievement of staffing objectives. This includes identifying, recruiting and selecting highly qualified candidates. The position partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure talent aligns with the company’s business strategy. Duties and Responsibilities Provide hiring managers with an applicant flow of quality candidates that match job opening requirements. Develop, cultivate and manage relationships with hiring managers to provide service excellence, recruitment expertise and achievement of hiring objectives. Conduct intake sessions with internal clients to develop successful candidate performance profiles and understand job requisition requirements. Schedule and conduct in-depth interviews (in-person, phone, Skype) and communicate with internal and external candidates on interview outcomes, resume review, offers, declines, etc. Create and develop a talent pipeline by sourcing from ATS, resume databases, professional networking, social media, etc.; partner with the Talent Sourcing Specialist. Manage and track individual applicant activity accurately and up to date in the Applicant Tracking System, including response management of all candidates in assigned requisitions. Follow HR policies and Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures. Ensure assigned hiring manager satisfaction, productivity, new-hire retention and satisfaction goals. Provide guidance, counseling, and education to the Ascensus community about financial services careers through job fairs, career days, and individual counseling. Partner within HR to provide seamless delivery of HR services and initiatives to the divisions. Assist with HR department projects as assigned. Provide backup support to the TA Consultant and HR administrative support related activities during absences. Other duties as assigned. Protect, secure, and properly handle all confidential data held by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access, improper transmission, or unapproved disclosure that could harm Ascensus or its clients. Minimum Requirements Experience: 2–4 years of recruiting experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems required (Workday is a plus). Knowledge of employment law and other compliance regulations required. Excellent time-management, organizational, and written communication skills; high attention to detail. Strong client-management and sales skills and ability to handle highly sensitive or confidential information. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, strong problem-solving ability, and detail-oriented. Awareness of employment fraud.
