Full-Time LPN OR Paramedic – Urgent Care Lexington & Burlington Locations

Urgent care clinic seeking a dependable, motivated Full-Time LPN, EMT-A or Paramedic to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be professional, patient-focused, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable performing a wide range of clinical duties. Would prefer a candidate who can work at both locations: Lexington, NC & Burlington, NC.

Clinic Hours

·       Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

·       Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (weekend hours extended during Flu/Covid season to 8:00PM)

Schedule

·       Typical rotating schedule includes:

·       Week 1: Three 12-hour weekday shifts

·       Week 2: One 12-hour weekday shift and two 9-hour weekend shifts

·       Position requires working every other weekend and some holidays

Clinic is closed on Easter Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day

Responsibilities

·       Patient check-in and intake

·       Obtaining medical histories and vital signs

·       Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection

·       Running basic laboratory testing

·       Administering injections and medications as ordered

·       Performing EKGs

·       Documenting accurately within the EMR system

·       Assisting providers with patient care and clinical procedures

·       Additional clinical and administrative duties as needed

·       The selected candidate will also receive training in X-ray procedures.

Qualifications

·       Current LPN or Paramedic license in good standing

·       Strong clinical and communication skills

·       Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

·       Prior urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine experience preferred, but not required

·       Reliable attendance and professional demeanor required

Training and orientation will be provided.
