Facility Designer I

Responsibilities Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow, etc.) Creating / using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review Conduct construction field observations Some travel to client sites or other HDR offices is required. Other design / engineering tasks as assigned Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to effectively interact with and present to client Ability to hand draw conceptual site and building plans Exceptional level of accuracy and detail Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of SketchUp Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements Location: Bellevue, WA Salary: $80,168.40 - $95,800 Primary Location: United States-Washington-Bellevue Industry: Transit Schedule: Full-time Employee Status: Regular Business Class: OM Facilities Design Job Posting: July 16, 2026 We provide a comprehensive benefits package that promotes employee ownership, employee health, performance, and success, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time away, parental leave, paid holidays, a retirement savings plan with employer match, employee referral bonus and tuition reimbursement.
