Work Environment

Located in the heart of San Diego, our rehabilitation center provides a dynamic and collaborative work atmosphere. As a member of our dedicated team, you will work alongside two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a passion for high-quality healthcare. The center is fully onsite, allowing for hands-on patient interaction and active participation in treatment plans. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, balancing professional commitments with personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish patient goals and individual care plans based on specific health needs and functional abilities.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, while ensuring that quality of care remains the priority.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement diverse treatment strategies aimed at improving patient mobility and physical capabilities.
• Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them by providing strategies to enhance their physical activities, making lifestyle changes when necessary.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, catered to the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate optimal care and interventions.
• Document all treatment procedures and patient progress accurately in EMR systems, ensuring compliance with care standards and facilitating clear communication within the healthcare team.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment effects, adjusting care strategies to maximize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

We serve a diverse client population, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clean professional record devoid of any board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Competence in creating and implementing customized exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, is advantageous.
• A history of utilizing diverse treatment modalities to achieve effective patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
