Work Environment

Working onsite at our conveniently located rehabilitation center, you will be part of a cohesive team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Our atmosphere promotes teamwork and open communication, ensuring that patient care is our foremost priority while also emphasizing employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and fulfill the individual goals and needs of patients through bespoke treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one individual per hour to provide focused, quality care and attentive follow-up.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective treatment techniques and intervene at various stages of rehabilitation.
• Develop and execute individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at improving strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Employ non-invasive treatment modalities and explore alternatives to medication and surgical options to enhance patient progress.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment regimens accurately using EMR software, including WebPT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of treatment outcomes and communicate progress with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to promote adherence to treatment plans and foster a healthier lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient base primarily consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, encompassing a range of orthopedic conditions. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. The collaborative approach within our team, along with individualized patient care, ensures an optimized rehabilitation process aimed at achieving favorable outcomes for each person.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a robust understanding of rehabilitation principles relevant to orthopedic outpatient care.
• Proficient in creating effective exercise programs designed for diverse patient needs and backgrounds.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to utilize these tools effectively for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Experience with sports rehabilitation techniques and performance enhancement programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
