Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our outpatient office, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You will work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including physical therapy assistants, administrative staff, and rehabilitation specialists. The environment is designed to support collaboration and communication, ensuring that every patient receives a holistic and coordinated approach to their care. Staff members enjoy a schedule from Monday to Friday, with consistent working hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, establishing baseline metrics to inform treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring effective rehabilitation and patient engagement.
• Administer physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Document patient records meticulously and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. As a Physical Therapist at Maximum Wellness PT, you will work closely with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and health goals. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their motivations will play a key role in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist (DPT or MPT) in the state of California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.
• Background in specialized treatment areas such as sports rehabilitation or geriatrics.

Compensation and Benefits
