Our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is designed to foster recovery and wellness through cutting-edge therapeutic interventions and patient-centered care. Our team, composed of skilled physical therapists and a supportive physical therapy assistant, is passionate about empowering patients to regain their functional independence.

Work Environment

This role is situated onsite in our rehabilitation center, where you will benefit from a collaborative and energetic atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology, promoting an excellent working environment for both staff and patients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life rhythm, conducive to personal fulfillment and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the goals and requirements of each patient, ensuring individualized care that addresses specific needs.
• Manage patient interactions effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and personalized attention throughout their treatment journey.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patients' mobility while minimizing their reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, exercise programming, and progressive rehab protocols to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress, ensuring that treatment adjustments are made based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address complex cases and ensure comprehensive patient care, including referrals and consultations to complementary services.
• Promote wellness and preventative health strategies, educating patients on maintaining their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Thoroughly document all treatment services provided, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards, using EMR systems like WebPT to track patient information and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our therapeutic approach is tailored to facilitate recovery in various demographics, emphasizing evidence-based practices that drive results. We primarily cater to patients with private medical insurance, allowing for a more streamlined process in delivering care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational background, with the preference for Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) credentials.
• A valid State of California license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board infractions.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques, with strong skills in formulating and conducting appropriate exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to enhance patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.
• Expertise in sports rehabilitation techniques and methodologies that align with our focus on enhancing athletic performance and recovery.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of shared learning and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflective of experience and qualifications.
