Position Overview

Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in the heart of San Diego, CA. This role is essential in helping our patients reclaim their mobility and improve their quality of life through personalized physical therapy interventions. As a physical therapist, you will engage in a range of activities including evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation to assist patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services is a premier orthopedic outpatient practice renowned for its commitment to high-quality care and patient-centered treatment. Our facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, spans 5,000 square feet and specializes in sports medicine and rehabilitation services. We take pride in our collaborative and supportive work environment, focusing on the individual needs of each patient. Our team consists of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), dedicated to facilitating optimal recovery for patients primarily with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing you to work closely with patients in a meaningful and impactful manner. Your regular working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing consistent scheduling to maintain work-life balance. The home care aspect of our practice means that you may also engage with patients in their residences, bringing personalized therapy directly into their daily environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and establish objective and measurable goals.
• Efficiently manage a workload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each session is productive and focused on client needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches and therapeutic techniques.
• Provide cost-effective and innovative solutions to enhance mobility, aiming to reduce reliance on unnecessary medical interventions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and offer exercise regimens designed to boost patient strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their therapy process, helping them stay engaged and committed to their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals for optimal patient care and interdisciplinary communication.
• Stay current with clinical outcomes and treatment efficacy through ongoing documentation and patient progress assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is orthopedic outpatient care, serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Our clients generally have private medical insurance, allowing for a personalized approach to therapy without the constraints often associated with other care models. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding patients toward regaining their independence and enhancing their overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with a history free of board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement customized exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) software platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a proven track record in achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse caseloads and deliver exceptional patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
