TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Williston, North Dakota, 58801!

Job Title: LDRP RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days + Call Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS, NRP, STABLE preferred Must-Have: Able to read and interpret fetal strips Critical thinking skills Experience following quality metrics Previous travel experience Ability to float to Medsurg and ER as needed Experience with titrating drips, including pitocin, insulin, and magnesium Description: Department includes a total of 15 L&D beds, with 7 for Labor and Delivery and 8 for Postpartum. The unit has one operating room suite for C-sections. There are approximately 58 births per month. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 for pitocin, magnesium, or insulin drips, and 1:3 for couplet care. Common patient diagnoses include obstetric and neonatal cases, hypertension, and gestational diabetes mellitus. The nursing staff is required to read their own fetal strips. Equipment utilized includes RT equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow. There are no tele/monitor techs on the unit; nurses will manage their own monitoring. The Nurse Manager does not allow self-scheduling but offers block scheduling instead. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is expected, with potential for call depending on staffing needs. The assigned dress code requires employees to wear maroon scrubs, which are provided.
