VFI is certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).VFI seeks an experienced, professional Systems Administrator Level II for a complex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.Note: All candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearanceLocation: Robins AFB/Warner Robins, GASchedule: Monday – Friday, weekends as neededTravel: Minimal, less than 10%Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure as required to meet business needs with little or no supervision. Knowledge of and experience with the relationship between databases and other software and the interfaces necessary to facilitate a cohesive system.Knowledge of and experience with system documentation and organization.Knowledge of and experience with current technology and practices, including application and network security.Knowledge and experience with personal computer hardware, including processors, motherboards, memory, hard disks, optical drives and peripherals such as scanners, cameras, printers, external hard drives, etc.Strong communication skills (oral and written) and strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a professional demeanor and strong personal ethics.
