Position Overview

Brightside Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including crisis management and behavioral guidelines.
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner while adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as part of your clinical practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to client needs.
• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Serve as a crucial liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.
• Foster effective communication channels within the organization and community to uphold our mission and meet contract obligations.
• Cultivate relationships with local, state, and federal partners to explore funding opportunities and expand programmatic offerings.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities by attending workshops, conferences, and community meetings related to mental health.
• Promote the mission and values of the organization actively and undertake additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals facing diverse mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance use disorders, learning disabilities, and other behavioral health issues. You will be instrumental in providing tailored support that helps these clients develop coping strategies, improve their quality of life, and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Current and valid Independent LMHC License.
• Strong commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for clients and colleagues alike.

• Experience working in community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.
