Periodontist – Full-Time (Wednesday–Friday)
Premier Periodontics | Lexington, Kentucky
Premier Periodontics is looking for a skilled, patient-focused Periodontist to join our team. This full-time position runs Wednesday through Friday, so you can do rewarding specialty work and still have a four-day weekend.

The RoleYou’ll diagnose and treat periodontal disease, place dental implants, and perform a full range of surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures. You’ll work alongside an experienced, supportive clinical and administrative team that lets you focus on patient care.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for periodontal disease and related conditions
- Perform surgical procedures, including dental implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting, sinus lifts, crown lengthening, and gingival grafting
- Provide non-surgical therapy, such as scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance oversight
- Administer local anesthesia
- Communicate and coordinate care with referring dentists and specialists
- Educate patients on treatment options, home care, and long-term oral health
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulations
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Certificate in Periodontics from a CODA-accredited residency program
- Active Kentucky dental license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Periodontology (preferred)
- Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care
- New graduates and experienced periodontists are welcome to apply
- Full-time: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
