Audit AssociateLocation: Greater Cleveland area, OH (city and suburbs; hybrid) Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000, depending on experienceAbout the OpportunityA well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Cleveland area is looking for an Audit Associate to join its assurance practice. You'll work on audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, learn from experienced professionals, and build a strong foundation with a clear path to Audit Senior.What You'll DoPerform audit procedures and testing on engagements for private companies and nonprofitsPrepare workpapers and supporting documentationAssist with financial statement preparation and disclosuresInteract with client personnel to gather informationIdentify issues and communicate them to seniors and managersLearn audit software and firm methodologyWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting0-2 years of audit experience in public accounting (internships count)CPA-eligible or actively pursuing the CPA (preferred)Solid Excel and analytical skillsStrong attention to detailClear communication and a team-first attitudeWhat's OfferedBase salary of $55,000 - $75,000, depending on experienceExcellent benefits package, including health and retirement benefitsGenerous PTO and paid holidaysHybrid and flexible scheduling options (details vary by opportunity)Support for CPA licensure and continuing professional educationReal opportunities for career advancement
