Please refer to the job description!Job Description Summary:Monday through Friday work scheduleWorkplace flexibility (hybrid: in-office/remote) and great team environmentOpportunity for career growth!Job Description:The Accounting Supervisor's major areas of responsibility will include financial accounting, including:Month-end close proceduresGeneral ledger account analysesPreparation/posting of journal entriesTechnical accounting researchReporting and internal reporting requests related to Division, Regional branches, CorporateFulfilling requests related to internal/external audit proceduresAll other ad hoc analyses or special projectsThis position must be able to build effective relationships with all levels of associates within the organization. This role will also liaise with the Client's shared services, including:Accounts payableCash applicationsCentral billingVendor chargebacksGeneral ledger accountingFixed asset functions as defined in the Client's RACI matrixIn Particular, You Will:Ensure the accuracy & integrity of the Division/Region financial statements and other information reported to internal and external users.Direct responsibility will include:Supervising accurate financial and statistical close processes, in conjunction with the Client's shared services, including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines.Handling significant sales accruals that are not based on a standard report/calculation.Managing significant COS & OPEX accruals, that are not based on a standard report/calculation.Addressing localized accounting topics including, but not limited to, real estate taxes and personal property taxes.Ad-hoc entries arising from the month-end close review process.
