Senior Property Accountant
Hybrid | Cleveland, OH
Looking for an opportunity where your accounting expertise will have a direct impact on a growing real estate investment organization?
We're partnering with an established company seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of investment properties. This position offers broad exposure to portfolio accounting, financial reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement—all within a stable, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting for multiple entities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Assist with ownership allocations, property transactions, and lender reporting
- Partner with Asset Management and Operations on portfolio performance
- Recommend process improvements and help strengthen reporting efficiencies
We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of real estate, property, or portfolio accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets
- Detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, Power BI, or similar systems is a plus
