Trident Consulting is seeking a "Assembly Technician”" for one of our client in "The Woodlands, TX". A global leader in business and technology services. Role: Assembly Technician Location: The Woodlands, TX (Onsite) Pay Rate: $21/hr on W2 Duration: 12-Month Contract Shifts Day: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM Night: Mon–Fri, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM Job Summary Seeking a Fabrication Technician to support the manufacturing and assembly of PDC drill bits . Responsibilities include fabrication, machining, assembly, inspection, repair, and ensuring products meet engineering drawings and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble components per blueprints and specifications. Perform CNC machining, welding, brazing, grinding, painting, inspection, and repair. Read engineering drawings and manufacturing documents. Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Operate hand and power tools safely. Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues. Support material handling and forklift operations. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or production. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. Experience using calipers, micrometers, and hand tools. Basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Skills CNC machining Oil & Gas or industrial manufacturing experience Quality inspection and mechanical troubleshooting #J-18808-Ljbffr
