TITLE: IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST (L3)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the escalation point for tier-2/3 support issues beyond the capacity of the existing support team (Travis and Zuri)
• Work hands-on in Intune, Okta administration, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and Jira
• Lead and provide technical guidance to the existing service desk team onsite
• Own IT communications — maintenance notifications, incident updates, system outage alerts via Slack and email
• Facilitate user training, lunch & learns, and onboarding support for new hires
• Act as the onsite IT point of contact when the Director is not on premises
• Own hardware lifecycle management — imaging, deployment, asset tracking, and refresh coordination
• Manage Okta — user provisioning, access requests, application assignments, and troubleshooting
• Assist with IT project work as directed by the Director — including potential project lead responsibilities on initiatives such as the Intune migration

Technical Requirements:

• Okta identity and access management
• MDM — Intune (required), Jamf a plus
• Microsoft 365 administration — Exchange, Teams, SharePoint
• System administration — Windows and macOS
• Jira — ticket management and service desk workflows
• Endpoint management and imaging
• Tier-3 escalation ownership — hardware and software
• Biotech or life sciences environment experience a plus
