Position Overview New: Ophthalmology Opportunity - Florida Panhandle/Beach location!! Specialty Needed Ophthalmology. Medical Center is a multi-specialty group of professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive health-care services to our community and whose vision is to be the community's choice for physician and health-care services. Medical Center's expanded ancillary services include laboratory, x-ray, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, 16-slice spiral CT w/CTA, mammography, bone scanning, OB/GYN laser, tympanometry, audiology, EEG, physical therapy, EMG/EP, optical shop, and a full cardio/pulmonary lab. Responsibilities Physician performs all ophthalmic surgery at the Hospital and Surgery Center. Provides services to patients ranging in ages from 2 to geriatrics, including contact lens services. Very little call requirements: Call 1:3 (cover with three independent ophthalmology providers). Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible, leading to board certification. Employee leading to shareholder status. Contract & Compensation Contract: 2-year with bonus potential. Bonus formula: 50% of net practice income minus expenses, including salary. Salary: AMGA/MGMA Median. Benefits include malpractice coverage, dues (maximum up to $750/yr), health/life/disability insurance, paid time off (19 days per year), 5 CME days, $1,000 stipend for CME expenses per contract year, pension/profit sharing (when eligible, after 1st year). #J-18808-Ljbffr Doctor's Choice Placement Services, Inc
