Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Nephrology, kidney transplant, renal, and dialysis experience requested.

Unit Details: Charge RN assignment on 6W Transplant Nephrology. Med/surg care; dialysis is done off of the unit. Virtual nurse completes patient admissions while bedside nurses focus on other patients. Day shift has a unit secretary, PCTs, and a unit educator.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts per month. No call.

Floating Requirements: Agency/contract nurses float first.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
