Job Title: CNC Machinist – Night Shift Rollomatic experience preferred. Hourly Rates: $22.25–$32.00/hr (experience‑based) Typical earnings with overtime: $56,700/yr at $22.25/hr assuming ~6 OT hrs/week at 1.5× $91,520/yr at $32.00/hr assuming ~10 OT hrs/week at 1.5× Night shift premium and additional OT may increase earnings. Schedule Nights: 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM (M‑F) Normal shift: 8‑10 hours per day, Monday‑thru‑Friday Mandatory Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, no more than 14 per year Overtime will be required. Approximate hours: 45‑50 hours per week on average, up to 56 hours with more available upon request. Responsibilities Perform proper set‑up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories. Setting tolerance levels and speeds. Translating the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production. Perform inspection on manufactured parts. Operate and/or learn advanced grinding equipment, including Rollomatic machines. CNC Machinist Qualifications Basic math skills (Algebra or higher). High school Diploma or GED. Ability to work 8‑10 hour shifts and perform required physical tasks. Experience in CNC or manual machine set‑up and operation. Blueprint reading skills. Strong mechanical knowledge. Previous experience with tool steel preferred. Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc preferred. Experience operating Rollomatic grinding machines (highly preferred, but not required). Physical Demands and Work Environment The manufacturing shop is highly maintained for cleanliness, including disinfecting and floor scrubbing daily. The entire building is air‑conditioned and ventilated to maintain cool and clean air quality. The role may require standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to handle objects. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds is essential. Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment, are required to perform the job effectively.
