Industrial Maintenance Technician
Livonia, MI
Up to $40/hour, based on experience
About the Opportunity:
A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, facility maintenance, and preventative maintenance across its Livonia operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can troubleshoot CNC machinery, conventional machines, forklifts, and plant equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC and conventional production machines
- Perform electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance on production machines and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, PM activity, and equipment condition
- Check and maintain hydraulic, lube, coolant, and concentration levels
- Support inventory control for coolants, oils, and related maintenance supplies
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and floor washers
- Handle general building maintenance including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and plant requirements
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience repairing production machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic schematics
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
- Forklift maintenance and repair experience preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and equipment diagrams
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to support facility needs as they come up
