As a Security Officer Unarmed in DENVER, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support site personnel and visitors, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting security-related concerns and/or access issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and support emergency procedures, evacuations, and/or accountability processes when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
