Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with IR specialty required
• State license (as applicable)
• Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency in procedures such as angiography, vascular access, and image-guided interventions
• Strong technical and patient communication skills
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver safe, quality patient care
• Adhere strictly to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
• Document patient records and imaging data accurately
• Welcome and reassure patients throughout procedures
• Maintain equipment and inventory for the IR suite
